Pitty Friday: Puppy Overload

This past Friday I had the pleasure of not only driving two U of R volunteers to the adoption event, but I also got to drive three puppies!

You've all seen Faye before, with her wonderful ears and personality.  Faye is about six months old now and doing very well in her training, especially because she is very food motivated.  She also LOVES her foster sisters and cuddles with them all the time.

Unfortunately, she managed to chew through her harness and was stuck in a martingale collar on Friday.  Faye loves to play with other dogs and is easily prevented from bounding off to play with her harness, but not so much with her martingale collar.  Unfortunately, with the collar she was stressing herself out and choking so we had to bring her home.

Colby is one of our brand new babies.  She is a sweetheart who is interested in every little thing that's going on around her.  Unfortunately for this sweet baby, the adoption event was a little overwhelming for her and she was stressing out so she had to go home.  She was getting along well with other dogs, just overexcited.  She was a sweetie that we just wanted to cuddle and play with all night long.

She was super silly in the car!

Vera is only about four months old but is doing very well with her training.  She has sit mostly figured out already.  While at the adoption event she worked really hard on learning the "down" command and had it more or less mastered by the end of the night.

Out of the three puppies that we brought on Friday she was by far the most mellow and calm.  All she wanted was the food we were using to train her.  She even ignored her foster sisters' antics and showed how nicely she sat for some potential adopters.

No page for baby Colby yet :( I'll try to update when one is made
